Comments on the Military and Business Ownership
Serving in the 82nd Airborne and 509th PIR helped prepare me to become an entrepreneur by exposing me to constant challenges under changing conditions with limited resources and requiring success; great training for running a small law firm that represents individuals against large government administrative bodies (SSA & VA). The military also taught me how to follow, which is a necessary prerequisite to becoming a leader. Military service was fundamental in who I've become today.
