Horses & Heroes is an EAGALA Military Designated Equine Assisted Learning program dedicated to serving veterans, first responders, and their families. Our dynamic programs are designed to renew hope, reduce stress and assist those affected by trauma.
Our model of therapy, EAGALA, has certified more than 4000 practitioners and counting. There are more than 600 programs located in 49 countries. With 17 years of experience, research and documented results, we can confidently say that, equine therapy works! Our heroes deserve alternative solutions to finding peace and healing! Horses & Heroes is our way of giving back.

Comments on the Military and Business Ownership
Being a military family, we have first-hand experience with deployments, moving, emotional and physical stress, trauma, suicide, divorce, separating from active duty and its impact on relationships, family and community dynamics. After rescuing horses, who also have their own stories of neglect, trauma, and abuse, we discovered a valid means of therapy that does not feel like therapy!
