Comments on the Military and Business Ownership
The military provided me with the discipline, leadership, and confidence to start up my own business. Military teaches you how to be a leader, how to motivate people, how to manage people, and how to accomplish tasks. I was given a great responsibility at such a young age as a junior officer in the Marines, the level of responsibility and accountability was enormous. You learn to be mission oriented and focus on completing objectives.
