Friends of Fisher House-Illinois is a Not-for-Profit 501(c)(3) serving the military and veteran community in Illinois by fundraising for, and and financial support of, the Fisher Houses located on, or near VA and DoD hospitals. Fisher Houses provide, at no cost to active duty military and veterans, and accompanying family members, housing, meals, and incidental expenses, while the service member or veteran is receiving in-patient care, treatment and surgeries. Fisher House has adopted, as its motto, "Because a Family's Love is Good Medicine." We strive to live by that creed. Our military members, veterans and their families deserve no less, and so much more.

Comments on the Military and Business Ownership
In the military, we were taught to care for our "battle buddies" and to leave no service member behind on the battlefield. The battlefield for Friends of Fisher House-Illinois is caring for our wounded and ill service members and veterans, and their families, in their greatest time of need.
