Comments on the Military and Business Ownership
While my service was back in the 1970's I've always had a desire to work with Veterans some way. I have been part of charities that supported Vets over the years, but when I moved back to Maine, the idea hit me. Many talented Veterans leave Maine each year for better opportunities to support themselves and family. Here, if you're not in the tourist industry or out on lobster boats, employment opportunities are scarce. I decided that as I built a company and as it grew, I could hire Vets.
