My service helped to prepare me for “Vetrepenuership” by showing me that there are very many different ways to get to a similar, successful result, and that adversity is a challenge, not a road block. My career spanned 20 years. I boarded illegal Iraqi oil smugglers, spent 2 tours boots on the ground in Al Asad Iraq and finished my time as a Command Career Counselor. I earned my Master Training Specialist qualification which gave me insight that not every person learns the way.
