Rebuilding Together of Greater Charlotte (RTGC)’s mission is repairing homes, revitalizing communities, rebuilding lives. We provide free home repairs for neighbors in need. We also actively partner with other local organizations to connect the communities we serve with additional resources to meet their needs and help them create healthier, more vibrant neighborhoods. Our vision is safe homes and communities for everyone.

Rebuilding Together of Greater Charlotte’s model prioritizes critical repairs that correct twenty-five scientifically proven health and safety hazards that are common in older homes, including falls, fires, moisture and mold, asthma and allergies and toxic exposures such as carbon monoxide. Thanks to our dedicated volunteers, we have unmatched cost effectiveness in making our community’s housing safer and healthier. We do have income verification and various requirements as well as an application process which must be completed in full before assessments for repairs can be made.
